Type: Chardonnay Region: Adelaide Hills, Adelaide
Pairs well with: Cheddar cheese, Soft cheese
Tasting Note
This wine is pale straw gold, and displays aromas of bright white peach, fig and citrus hints with complexing cashew and brioche notes. The palate is elegant with flavours of ripe nectarine and pink grapefruit supported by subtler almond, Flintstone and creamy lees characters with hints of toasty oak. A fine back bone of tight acidity holds the wine together giving it great structure and length
Wine & Cheese Pairing
Soft and creamy cheeses like Brie or Camembert complement the rich and buttery flavors of Atlas Chardonnay. The creaminess of these cheeses balances the acidity and fruitiness of the wine, creating a perfect harmony of flavors.
Aged cheddar is also an excellent pairing with Atlas Chardonnay. The nutty and sharp flavors of the cheese are complemented by the fruit and spice notes in the wine.
